US: Multiple deaths in shooting at San Jose railyard, says official
Gunfire emitted Wednesday at a railyard in San Jose and a sheriff's representative said there were numerous fatalities and wounds and that the suspect is dead. Santa Clause Clara County sheriff's representative Deputy Russell Davis said that he was unable to indicate the quantity of fatalities and wounds. "I can't affirm the specific number of wounds and fatalities yet I will reveal to you that they are various wounds and different fatalities for this situation," Davis said. He added that "the suspect is affirmed expired." The casualties incorporate Valley Transportation Authority workers, Davis said. The shooting occurred at a light rail office that is nearby to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department and across a road from the air terminal.
